We supply everything needed, from Rainbow Beach hostel accommodation to all your needs on our epic 3-day Fraser Island Tour, and it all starts at Pippies Beachhouse in Rainbow Beach.

Experience beach driving yourself in one of our tag-along vehicles whilst visiting the most amazing freshwater lakes & cruising along sand tracks through ancient rainforests. We will take you to the breathtaking Lake Boorangoora (McKenzie), the foaming Champagne Pools and the iconic rusting Maheno shipwreck stranded along 75 mile beach set against the incredible coloured sands of K’Gari. Let’s not forget about Lake Wabby and the resident catfish. Floating down the famous Eli Creek is a must and be sure to look out for the Wongari (wild Dingoes) while driving along the endless beach.

We depart from Rainbow Beach meaning that you will be on Fraser Island in just under 20 minutes, after packing your 4×4, making more time to experience the world’s largest sand Island!

Located a short walk along the sand blow, Lake Wabby is the deepest lake on Fraser Island. Yes, however Pippies only offer a 3 Day 4×4 Tag Along Tour to Fraser Island as there is so much to see. Please give us a call for options on a Day Tour, as we are pretty fussy and will only recommend what we would do ourselves.

Can you do Fraser Island on your own?

Yes you can do Fraser Island on your own but as a traveller we recommend rather doing a Fraser Island Tour as everything is organised for you, therefore all you have to do is just have a great time!

Noosa is 1 Hour 34 Minutes from Inskip Point in Rainbow Beach where you can take the ferry across to Fraser Island!
